Edinburgh Accies are one of Scotland’s oldest and leading cricket teams. Founded in 1855, Edinburgh Accies currently field 2 teams; the 1st XI will play in the Eastern First Division of the Cricket Scotland League (CSL) in 2012, while the 2nd XI play in Division 5 of the East League. We also have a thriving junior section and currently field junior sides at U13 and U15 level who play in the Lothian Junior Cricket Development Group (LJCDG) leagues and also we have an U10 kwik cricket team that plays in Sunday morning festivals. We also hope to field a hard ball U11 side this year. With a membership exceeding 150 people across the age groups, Edinburgh Accies are definitely a club on the up.
With an estimated 12,000 active cricketers of all ages in Scotland and with popularity rising due to the success of the Twenty:20 game, cricket has a higher sporting profile than ever before. As a leading club, we’re naturally keen to attract commercial partners to share in our success and to help us fund ambitious projects vital to the future development of the club and our young players.
By playing in the CSL, Edinburgh Accies will also draw significant press coverage, in both printed and online media. Wherever possible, we will ensure that this coverage makes mention of key sponsors and commercial partners. There are a number of opportunities available at the club including team sponsors, match sponsorship and website advertising. The corporate logo of all club sponsors will feature prominently on the club website which currently attracts 1000 hit a month with significant browsing time. The club utilises social media to the full and has over 150 followers on ‘Twitter’ from all over the UK and uses ‘Facebook’ to promote the Accies brand across the world.

Team Sponsorship Packages
Team sponsorship currently starts at £400. These packages can be tailored to your individual requirements but would include website advertising, match sponsorship of one home game at which you can select your ‘Man of the Match’ and present the winner with his award and a prominent mention of your support in the website match report.
